Music theory is the study of the structure of Western music.
It includes considerations of melody, rhythm, counterpoint, harmony and form; tonal systems, scales, tuning, intervals, consonance, dissonance, durational proportions and the acoustics of pitch systems;
composition, performance, orchestration, ornamentation, improvisation and electronic sound production etc.

Our school doesn't believe in performance alone but it gives a lot of importance to the theory as well.

We believe that the Practical and the Theory should always be balanced. Thus taking that in mind we conduct theory classes for each batch. The theory classes include all the basic theories from notations to writing notes to tests etc.

A separate theory class is being taken for students appearing for exams in Trinity College of London apart from the normal theory classes. The classes are taken in white boards and are explained with practical demos.
